Our leaders at GLC have a few guiding principles that help to build our company culture

  1. We encourage ownership attached to actions

  2. We correct in private

  3. We praise in public

Of course, there are others, but today we are focusing on point three, because as we end 2025 there is some major praise that is due to some incredible staff members.

There are a few ways we recognize employees throughout the year. Usually, recognition happens on a more local scale with a team shout-out or an extended opportunity. Then we have our regular President’s Awards, to recognize those whose character and accomplishments have gone above and beyond.

As a company who prides ourselves on excellence, and has built a reputation for exceeding expectations, being noticed for going “above and beyond” is a true accomplishment.

Then there are our annual Gotta Love Champions. This time of year we call out a few distinct individuals who have excelled, not just in the moment, but throughout the year. Those whose commitment reflects who we are at GLC. These Champions earn their recognition day after day. Today, we have a chance to praise those individuals in public, to put their hard work on display, and showcase their achievements.

Rodney Howard

Since joining GLC, Rodney has been focused on improving the quality of our support while instilling a Consider It Done thought process within our team.  His leadership has been key to raising the bar of professionalism that is needed to gain the trust of our clients.  Through his hard work and dedication, we are viewed as key support providers within the Firm, providing quality support services to meet their operational demands.

Naylan Agosto

Having Naylan onsite to lead one of our teams has been a major part of our success.  Naylan has been able to work closely with our team and together they have worked hard to improve the quality of our service.  While always looking for ways to expand our existing support, Naylan always takes a close look at the current process to see where improvements can be implemented.  This approach has benefited the GLC Team and our relationship with our clients.

Marshall Howell

Words like "exceptional" are used when describing Marshall Howell's work. To quote his manager  "He consistently does an outstanding job ensuring the clients' expectations are met if not exceeded." Marshall has worked with GLC in several different US regions since he joined with us nearly 20 years ago.

Marshall stabilized a department that was in disarray. His efforts since then have helped the department continue to provide outstanding service and support to the entire firm throughout the US and abroad.

The site’s Director of Records and Conflicts has remarked that with Marshall leading that team he does not have to worry about the Records Department, and that he now has the ability to focus on projects beyond the day-to-day, looking at new software, and renegotiating new contracts for records storage.

Marshall is also someone his manager can trust. He is fearless in all his endeavors, and is protective of his team in the best ways.

Sheila Clissold

You've seen those stunning events our hospitality team puts together. You might not have seen the faces behind them. Sheila Clissold is the manager behind our team Small but Mighty, and the mind behind the idea that saved our client tens of thousands of dollars in food waste this year!

This year Sheila has had to assume both her role and that of the Event Planner, who has been out on Leave. Before and during this time she has ensured that her team have been consistently excellent supporting, setting up, serving, bartending, and cleaning up after the events. Sheila engages caterers for meetings from 5 – 300 people.

This year alone she has had to plan for events hosting up over 50 people more than once. Sheila’s leadership, organization, and management has earned accolades throughout the year.

Her catering area and the kitchen received a 100% and a 99% respectfully, from its most recent city heath inspection. Both are stellar accomplishments. We find this telling of the kind of care, respect, and attention she and her team put into every detail.

Sheila’s manager credits her with reducing his stress level by half. She is a champion of the highest order.

Moises Serrano

This prestigious recognition celebrates exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to fostering a productive and supportive workplace environment.

Moises has demonstrated remarkable proficiency in orchestrating the complex daily operations that keep our organization running smoothly. Through strategic planning, resource optimization, and proactive problem-solving, he has elevated the standard of our client account to new heights.

Beyond managing day-to-day operations, Moises has shown exceptional foresight in anticipating organizational needs and implementing solutions before challenges arise. These efforts have led to our client entrusting him in taking over additional crucial responsibilities previously held by their own personnel, further strengthening the relationship with our business partners. Moise's dedication to continuous improvement and his ability to balance multiple priorities while  maintaining composure under pressure exemplify true management excellence.

This particular award recognizes not only professional competence but also the positive impact one individual can have on an entire organization.

Tracy Bunis

Tracy’s extraordinary 20+ year tenure represents an unparalleled legacy of dedication, leadership, and exceptional service to our organization.

For more than twenty years, Tracy has been the cornerstone of our operations, providing the essential infrastructure that keeps our organization running smoothly and efficiently. Her institutional knowledge, combined with a forward-thinking approach to management, has made her an invaluable asset to our entire team. Two decades of excellence deserves far more than a single award can convey. Tracy has not just managed operations; she has created an environment where people can do their best work. She has turned routine tasks into seamless experiences and transformed challenges into opportunities for improvement. She is the gatekeeper of operational information for our clients, who rely on her on a daily basis for crucial operational support.
